One of the key components in getting your BMW or MINI fixed correctly, is good communication. Try to be aware of the particular symptoms that your vehicle is exhibiting and always let your Service Advisor know as much information as possible. At that point, you should be dealing with a person who is really listening to your symptoms and taking that information in. This is may be the first step in establishing trust, which is so critical to this business.

It is crucial to have team members who can translate the “tech speak” into a more recognizable language for you. Do you know what a MAF or MAP is? And even more important to you individually, do you want to know? Most of our customers are extremely knowledgeable about their BMW or MINI. But, others are not interested, (other than the fact that it gets them from A-B, fast and in style). The different needs and communication styles of should be always be considered when you are dealing with your service facility. What is “too much information”, to one person, may “not be enough”, to another.
