Consumers love independent shops, according to Consumer Reports
Recently a Consumer Reports survey showed that 71 percent of vehicle owners who took their cars to independent shops for “repairs”, (not routine maintenance), were “very satisfied with the experience”. In the same survey, only 53 percent that took their vehicles to a dealership for the same, claimed to be “very satisfied with the experience”. Wow. That’s is a pretty hefty gap of satisfaction.
