After our severe Bay Area storm your BMW may have some pine needles lying on the hood, roof or trunk. Always remove any debris from your BMW or MINI in a careful manner, but especially pine needles. Never use a dry cloth and never try to rub off the pine needles. Your paint finish can be scratched or dulled needlessly. Pick up each pine needle carefully from the paint. Depending on the severity of any pine sap spots, you may need to use a product such as a tar remover, (Meguirs makes a nice product in their Gold Class line). Then wash the Beemer as usual and you are keepin’ it clean.
